Acces at the Chibau Berria Camping Municipal

The Chibau Berria municipal campsite is located north of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the Chibau district, about 2.5 km from the centre of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.

Option 1 (for vehicles less than 2.90 m high) :

  • Take exit n°3 (Saint-Jean-de-Luz – Nord)
  •  Turn right towards Guéthary, Bidart, Bayonne
  • Take the  RD 810 for 900 m and turn right (Follow the signs for the Arena Hotel)
  • Take the 1st left to go under the bridge (2.90 m) then continue until the stop sign.
  • At the stop sign, turn left and follow the road until the roundabout (600 m)
  • At the roundabout, turn left and go down to the bottom of Chemin de Chibau Berria (500 m)
  • You have arrived

Option 2 (for all other vehicles) :

  • Take exit n°3 (Saint-Jean-de-Luz – Nord)
  • Turn right towards Guéthary, Bidart, Bayonne
  • Take the RD 810 for 1.8 km and at the roundabout turn left towards Acotz – Plages
  • At the stop sign, turn left and continue until the roundabout (700 m)
  • At the roundabout, turn left and continue to the next roundabout (500 m)
  • At the new roundabout, go straight ahead and go down to the bottom of Chemin de Chibau Berria (500 m)
  • You have arrived

By the departmental road from Bayonne :

  • 1.8 km after entering Saint-Jean-de-Luz, turn right (follow the signs to the Hotel Arena)
  • Continue to the roundabout (600 m)
  • At the roundabout, turn left and go down to the bottom of Chemin de Chibau Berria (500 m)
  • You have arrived

Ps : “Camping Chibau Berria” is signposted along the route.

By train :

  • Saint-Jean-de-Luz / Ciboure SNCF railway station.
  • Take the Hegobus transport network, line 43, at the bus stop in front of the station.
  • Go north from Saint-Jean-de-Luz and stop at the stop ‘Plage Erromardie’.
  • Walk 800m along Erromardie beach of Erromardie, towards the Chibau Berria municipal campsite
  • You have arrived

  • Biarritz-Bayonne-Angle Airport (BIQ)
  • Take the Transdev Sud-Ouest transport network (ATCRB), line 3 towards Saint-Jean-de-Luz / Hendaye
  • Stop at the stop ‘Centre Commercial’.
  • Walk 1 km in the direction of the municipal campsite following the signs “camping Chibau Berria”.
  • You have arrived
